Getting indexed in Google, MSN and Yahoo these days is a lot harder to get done now then it used to be. I see people all the time building up really nice websites that really never even see the light of day because they aren't promoted properly.

I have found that the most success of getting your website indexed is when you latch onto a website that is already ranked in those search engines. Such as Myspace for example, Myspace has millions of users a day and search engines constantly crawl the website for new information daily. So, it would be a lot easier for your website to get picked up on a popular website.

Latley, I have been able to get 4 of my blogs indexed by all three search engines listed above and actually got them there pretty quickly with a few things that I did.

Right now, I would like to take a minute of your time to show you a few tips on how to get your website indexed quickly in Google, Yahoo, and MSN.

5 Tips to Get Indexed in Google, Yahoo, and MSN:

#1 Use RSS Feeds- This allows your viewers to get notified everytime your content is updated.

#2 Social Bookmarking- Allows you to post your website into your favorites list; awesome to get indexed quickly and receive backlinks.

#3 Forum Participation- Everytime you join a forum relevant to your website, leave your website in the signature which creates backlinks.

#4 Website Submissions- Do a search in google for search engine friendly submission sites for your website. This will allow you to register with search engines.

#5 Write A Press Release- I have gotten indexed very quickly from writing PR's and is an awesome way to get backlinks because your PR will get picked up by many other websites.

Now, the only thing that is stopping your website from getting indexed in search engines is not getting started right now! Try and go through the list above and wait a couple of days to check and see what number your website ranks in at.
